China Leather Craftsman Foundation, which is sponsored by Xuzhou Hongfeng Polymer Materials Co., LTD and School of Light Industry Science and Engineering, Sichuan University, and supported by China Leather Industry Association, was launched for encouragement to the outstanding talents of graduate students study at light chemical engineering, leather chemistry and engineering working in leather industry after graduation, and make contributions to the sustainable development of China's leather industry with their technology and wisdom.

The board of judges of the 5th China Leather Craftsman Foundation started selection of candidates in July In accordance with the Foundation's rules, the final list of winners was selected with procedures, including recommendation by their colleges, or the human resources Department of the enterprises, initial review by the secretariat of the Foundation Committee and board of judges, and the final results are posting on CLIA’s website.

There are 11 graduates students winning the 5th China Leather Craftsman Foundation this year. The Foundation Committee hopes the winners cherish honor, modest and prudent, make persistent efforts on the position for doing more contribution. The committee also calls on more graduates to follow their example, actively participating in the leather industry, and making greater contributions to the development of a powerful leather country by spirits of creative and Aggressive.
