OrthoLite, a global leader in comfort footwear solutions, has expanded its OrthoLite India (OIN) facility in Ambur and opened a new sales office in Chennai, tripling its footprint and boosting production capacity to two million insoles per month. Now the largest insole manufacturer in South Asia, OIN is also equipped to produce leather footbeds.
“India is a thriving market for both domestic consumers and exports,” said Glenn Barrett, OrthoLite’s CEO. “This facility will be a hub for leather craftsmanship and future innovations.”
Since its 2021 launch, OIN has become integral to OrthoLite’s global production, serving 61 brand partners locally. Under General Manager Vikash Bajargyan’s leadership, the facility has expanded operations, adding key hires such as Operations Manager Sweta Kannan and experienced supply chain professionals.
The upgraded facility underscores OrthoLite’s commitment to local-for-local production, sustainability, and innovation in meeting growing regional demand.
