On the morning of November 9, 2024, the 12th Zhang
Quan Fund Award Ceremony was held in the 15th National
Conference on Leather Science and Technology and the 26th Annual Meeting of
China leather Science & Technology Commission of the China Leather Industry Association (CLIA). This year's Zhang Quan Fund
Award was presented to Mr. Ma Jianzhong, a professor at
Shanxi University of Science and Technology, and Mr. Li Yuzhong, the chairman
of CLIA, in recognition of their outstanding contributions to education,
scientific research, and management in China's leather industry.

Mr. Ma Jianzhong: Professor and PhD
supervisor at Shanxi University of Science and Technology, and the former
president of the university. Mr. Ma Jianzhong has made significant
contributions in teaching, research, management, and talent development in the
leather field.
Mr. Li Yuzhong: Vice chairman
of China National Light Industry Council and chairman (also a professorate
senior engineer) of CLIA，as well as director
of the national leather industry standardization technical committee, and the national
footwear standardization technical committee. Mr. Li Yuzhong has made remarkable
contributions in promoting the management and sustainable development of the
leather industry.
