Footwear and tanning machinery manufacturers’ association Assomac will be an official partner of the 2024 Venice Sustainable Fashion Forum.
This event will take place on October 24 and 25, organised by enterprise federation Confindustria, by textile and fashion industry federation Sistema Moda Italia, and by management consultancy The European House-Ambrosetti.
Assomac said it was confident the forum would offer an opportunity to address themes such as technological innovation and lowering environmental impact.
Ahead of the event, Mauro Bergozza, an Assomac vice-president, said: “We are proud to be part of the change that is taking place, and of making available to companies in the fashion sector technology that can help them lower their impact. Taking part in the 2024 Venice Sustainable Fashion Forum also gives testimony to our own commitment to building a more responsible and innovative supply chain.”
