The Leather Industry Exchange Meeting was jointly held by China Leather Industry Association and The Leather and Hide Council of America (LHCA ) in Shanghai on August 30, 2023

Li Yuzhong, Vice president of China National Council of Light Industry and the president of CLIA, and Chad Robertson, president of The Leather and Hide Council of America, attended and addressed the meeting.

LaShonda McLeod, Director, Agricultural Trade Office, U.S. Consulate in Shanghaii, Jane Li, Vice President of The Leather and Hide Council of America, and officials from the U.S. Embassy, Consulates and Agricultural Trade offices in Beijing, Guangzhou and Shenyang. Chen Zhanguang, Vice President of China Leather Industry Association, Huang Yanjie, vice Secretary General of CLIA, As well as Chinese key tanners and American raw hide suppliers presented the meeting.

The meeting took place in a relaxed and pleasant atmosphere, and representatives from both sides conducted the in-depth and pragmatic exchanges.

The both sides agreed that the exchange will play a significance role on strengthening and promoting the cooperation and development of the leather industry between China and the United States.
