China recently published the third batch of industrial standardsrevision plan in 2014, leather industry includes 11 items, according to the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology of the People's Republic of China (MIIT), Chinaleather.org reported Monday.
Leather industry has another 12 standards to formulate and revise in the first and second patches.
The new plan covers 6 items to be drafted by 2015 such as split cow leather, Water-based finishing agent with emulsifying wax, finishing Agent for edge polishing, accessories for bags, luggage and etc.
Another 5 items including fur coats, backpacks, travelling cases will be revised by 2015.
In the first batch, the items of leather area measurement and handbags standard will be formulated by the end of this year while the general technological requirement for leather accessories need to be completed by 2015.
Leather shoes for Children and other 6 standards about the leather machinery will be drafted and revised by 2015 while leisure shoes and soles will be revised by 2016 in the second batch of the plans.
