In the first 8 months of this year, the total value of foreign trade in Guangdong province were 5.27 trillion yuan, up 0.6 percent year-on-year. The value of exports reached 3.34 trillion yuan, up 4.9% year on year; Import value fell by 6.1 percent year on year to 1.93 trillion yuan. On the products of footwear, bags and toys, the export value increased by 19.4 percent, 17.8 percent and 14.2 percent year-on-year respectively.

In Zhejiang province:

In the first 8 months, exports of clothing, footwear, luggage and bags increased by 26.8 percent, 35.4 percent and 59.3 percent respectively.

In the city of Quanzhou:

The city’s statistic bureau report, the exports of footwear in the city of Quanzhou reached 17.6 billion yuan, up 32.1 percent year-on-year in the first eight months of this year.
